DAM_FINO announces debut London show at famous venue The Water Rats, Kings Cross.
The new London-based two-piece consisting of a pair of renowned Australian music figures takes to the Water Rats stage to debut their new show. Koby Geddes, known as the lead vocalist for punk outfit Dividers and cult ska band Bagster, teams up with Ardie Worsley, drummer for California/Sydney hip hop act Snob Scrilla and viral indie sensation Jubilants.
DAM_FINO (pronounced dam-fee-no) have somehow managed to produce the grit and force of a full rock band between two people. Their sound is characterised by big riffs and catchy hooks owing to an obscure guitar and bass set up, flashy drumming and succinct vocal harmonies; sounding somewhere between Foals, Billy Talent and Biffy Clyro.
The duo are currently working on their debut release, recorded and mixed between their current home (Orpheus Studios, London) and hometown (Electric Sun and Studios 301, Sydney). The band’s headline show at The Water Rats on 28th July will be the first opportunity to hear the new material before the anticipated release in August.
DAM_FINO at The Water Rats supported by Black Powder Merchants, Scott Folan, Natalie Banna and Louis Bartlett.
